New Berkeley Bloggers

Hey everyone! How is it going? Today I'm introducing you to a couple of fellow students who are joining the blogging activity at Berkeley College. A few weeks ago I met with other student bloggers at school, and I was very happy to see that there are new ones coming in. There's a new page added to the main school page (http://berkeleycollege.edu/home.htm) which is dedicated to all the social media. In that section, you'll find all the bloggers! Let's see who's new:

  • Gwendolyn Jenkins: "I was born in Culpeper, VA. in 1963, but I've lived in New York since 1964. For a little over four decades I called Spanish Harlem home before moving to Yonkers in 2005. I have an Associates Degree in Health Information Management. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Health Services Management."
With such an interesting background, I'm sure we will all enjoy her posts. You can check her blog in the following link: http://berkeleycollegestudent17.blogspot.com/.

  • Lars Mobeck: "Most people know me by the name of Kalle, but in America some people know me by my second name Lars. How can Lars be my second name when it is the first name that appear in my name? That is because that I am Swedish and names does not work in the same way as it does in America. The story that I want to share with my readers is how it is to be an International student in New York. My experience of the city and my experience of Berkeley College. Manhattan on In-lines, road trip to New Port, how to get started to become a Berkeley student and New York city night life is some of the topics that I will discuss in my blog. I love sports, fashion, movies and exploring the city. The topics in my blog will be about thing that I do with my International friends and the Americans that I share a house with. I am 24 years old and this is my second degree and I have been living abroad before I came to Berkeley College."

Lars and I have many things in common regarding our backgrounds. We both are international students and have lived in different places before coming to the city. If you've been following my blog, I'm sure you'll enjoy Kalle's posts. I'm looking forward to read more of his stories! You can follow his blog clicking on this link: http://berkeleycollegestudent16.blogspot.com/.

Besides from those two incorporation, we still have some other senior bloggers, like Lyndsay Wright, Professor Marilyn Kulik and Monika Jamiolkowska. You can find the links to all their blogs in the social media site for Berkeley College here: http://berkeleycollege.edu/admissions_bc/social_media.htm.

Have a great weekend and see you soon!
